Myra Ruth West, 81, of Lakeland died Tuesday, August 11th, 2020 at Good Shepherd Hospice. Myra was born on November 17, 1938 in Daytona, FL to Virgil and Hazel Pitts. She was married to N.F. West for 54 years and worked as an Administrative Assistant. Myra has been a resident of the area for 75 years. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and pets. Myra is predeceased by her parents and husband and is survived by her sons, Chris West, James West (Debra) and Richard West (Patti) all of Lakeland. Grandson’s James West, II of Bradenton, FL, Matthew West, and Richard H. West both of Lakeland. Granddaughter, Natalie Harris (Jason) and Great Granddaughters Addyson Harris and Abbygail Harris of Ocala, FL Myra’s family requests that donation be made in her honor to the SPCA or the American Cancer Society.
